Lot of three vintage leather camels.
England of India around the 1960s to 1970s.
Three decorative camels made of leather using papier-mâché techniques. With a little imagination, they resemble a mother with two young. The largest is approximately 29cm tall and 35cm long. The two smaller ones are approximately 19cm tall.
These were made in either England or India for the European market. They were very popular in the Victorian era, a status symbol. They became popular again in the 1960s and 1970s.
They are in excellent condition, of course with signs of use.
