Here is an outstanding specimen of saturated sea blue aquamarine from the Erongo mountains, displaying highly glassy and elongated gem crystals (4.8 cm main doubly terminated one) in combination with lustrous jet black schorl tourmaline and botryoidal fluorescent opal on white orthoclase!

Aquamarine from Erongo is sought after for the very deep and different blue hue it shows, very different from the Pakistanese or Brazilian localities. Note the main doubly terminated crystal was repaired once, which does not affect the aesthetics and presentation of the specimen.

An extraordinary architectural specimen, featuring a very hard to come by quality of aquamarine!
