Here is a remarkable specimen of fluorite from a lesser known Provence locality: L'Avellan mine!

It features 'frozen' surface texture cubes with good mint green colour and contrasting white dissolution clouds.
Note the colour zoning, from a darker core to an almost colourless outer layer.
