Description from the seller
A pair of elegant and luxurious earrings, expertly crafted in a design that is both classic and full of vitality. They are made of 925 silver with 18-karat yellow gold plating.
Each earring consists of two harmoniously connected sections. The upper part features a round citrine gem with a brilliant cut, set in a four-prong mount and characterized by a warm golden luminosity. The citrine is connected, via a small polished gold ring, to the lower, more elaborate section. The lower part has a teardrop shape and displays a large faceted oval citrine at its center, radiating the same sunny yellow brilliance as the upper stone. Surrounding this central gem is a frame of natural emeralds from Brazil, precisely set and held by gold prongs. The emeralds form an elegant radiating pattern, resembling a fan opening around the citrine, creating a lively and opulent contrast between the intense green and warm yellow. The craftsmanship is highly meticulous: each stone is securely fixed and positioned to best catch the light, offering a bright and captivating effect. The overall aesthetic of the earrings is luxurious and refined, with a perfect balance between timeless elegance and a touch of glamour. The yellow gold plating further accentuates their opulence.
The total weight of the stones is approximately 11.80 ct. The earrings measure 28x12 millimeters. Closure with a pin and butterfly clasp. 925 hallmark present.
Sterling 925 silver 18 kt gold plated.

My gaze on the jewel
Observing these beautiful earrings, I notice several interesting details that significantly contribute to their value and charm.
The double citrine stone with different cuts: using a round citrine at the top and a pear-shaped or oval citrine at the bottom creates visual balance and enhances the light in various ways. The brilliant cut of the upper stone provides maximum sparkle, while the elongated cut below amplifies the depth of color. Therefore, it is not just an aesthetic choice.
The articulated connection between the two sections: the small ring between the upper stone and the pendant is not just decorative; it allows movement and oscillation, increasing brilliance when the earrings are worn.
3. The micro-setting work of emeralds: emeralds are delicate stones, prone to natural fractures. The multi-prong setting, so close and uniform, requires great precision. This type of craftsmanship indicates excellent artisanal quality and attention to the safety of the stone.
The radiating motif: the dangling part features a design reminiscent of a flower or a daisy ('cluster' in jewelry jargon), where a larger central gem is surrounded by smaller gems. This arrangement emphasizes the central stone and creates a visual effect of greater importance and overall brilliance of the pendant. Such a design requires strict symmetry and proportions.
5. Prong Setting: All gemstones are set with a prong setting. This type of setting allows light to penetrate the gemstone from multiple angles, enhancing its brilliance. For smaller gemstones, the prongs must be very fine and well-crafted to avoid overpowering the gem.
The precision with which the claws hold each individual gem, especially the smaller ones, is a craftsmanship detail.
5. Use of studied chromatic contrast: the pairing of the warm yellow of citrine, the unique green of emeralds, and the yellow gold of the setting is not simply pleasing; it is a classic chromatic contrast in high-end jewelry because the two tones enhance each other, increasing the perception of brilliance.
The earrings are shipped immediately after purchase worldwide, with a fast and insured courier. A tracking code is provided after the sale. The item is carefully and professionally packaged. When purchasing multiple items from the collection, the buyer pays the cost of a single shipment.
