This is a striking combination specimen from a single, well identified pocket in the prolific Tsumeb mining history!

It displays a lustrous and translucent star (reticulated twin) of cerussite decorated with vivid green smithsonite 'rice grains'!

Just excellent, not to be missed for any Tsumeb or nice miniatures collector.

Tsumeb is one of the most mythic localities for the mineral collector. There, the unlikely combination of several geological factors made possible the occurrence of a wide variety of finely crystallized mineral species, to such and extent that this deposit set the highest international standards for several species over the second half of the last century.
