Description from the seller

It is said that every guitarist has held, at least once in their life, a Yamaha FG series in their hands, instruments that have enjoyed unquestionable success for quite a few decades now, thanks to the excellent structural and sonic qualities of a dreadnought equipped with the ingenious L-shaped block, specifically designed to ensure a perfect connection between neck and body, improving sustain, assertiveness and sound projection...
In particular, the FG720S boasts a solid Sitka spruce top, mahogany sides, back and neck, and rosewood fingerboard and bridge.
The die-cast mechanisms are very stable, smooth and precise, three per side.
Both the 42mm nut and the compensated saddle are made of synthetic bone.
The keyboard houses 20 perfect keys with dot markers, pearlescent on top and black on the edge, and has a radius of 15.75".
D'Addario EJ15 .010-.047s were mounted, which, thanks to the perfectly functioning trussrod and the masterfully lowered saddle, are 1.5mm from the 1st string and 2.25mm from the 6th string from the 12th fret, without sizzling, of course!
The satin finish of the handle ensures a very comfortable glide, facilitating speed of execution.
From all this comes the wonderful and unmistakable sound of an acoustic Yamaha, important and full, with robust low frequencies, a well-present midrange and penetrating highs.
Then, as if that wasn't enough, master luthier Palinga Customizer has made numerous new upgrades to make it amplable: three different pickups, independent and individually controllable...
For the typical sound of an electro-acoustic, a high-quality piezoelectric was installed under the saddle, shaping only the saddle to leave the bridge and soundboard intact. It is controlled by a 250Ω logarithmic pot for volume and a 250Ω linear push/pull (phase/counterphase) pot with a 0.47μF capacitor for tone.
To amplify the clean and faithful acoustic sound, a super cardioid microphone capsule with 600Ω output impedance has been inserted inside the body, suspended from an elastic support to isolate it from the vibrations of the wood and directed towards the strings. This is also controlled by a 250Ω logarithmic pot for the volume and a 250Ω linear push/pull (phase/counterphase) pot with a 0.47μF capacitor for the tone.
To emulate an electric guitar, a 3.99KΩ magnetic pickup was installed in the soundhole, which is great fun, especially with an effects pedal. In addition to being controlled by a 250Ω logarithmic pot for volume and a 250Ω linear push/pull (phase/counterphase) pot with a 0.47μF capacitor for tone, it features a Chris Kinman-style three-wire bleed circuit, with a 1nF capacitor and a 100Ω resistor in series.
All electrical and electronic parts are shielded with copper foil, all cables are shielded with copper mesh: this results in total protection from electromagnetic interference, having created a Faraday cage which, together with the strings connected individually via micro copper wires under the bridge like a solid-body, discharge any possible interference to earth via the ground.
With the possibility of infinite combinations of the three independent passive pickups, activated individually by disappearing push/push switches (down = on / up = off), the limits to the sounds of this guitar are dictated only by your taste and your imagination!
It is recommended to deactivate a pickup that you do not want to use from the button and not from the volume knob so as not to close the circuit. The alternative would have been to provide a single master volume for all of them, penalizing their versatility.
Aesthetically, it's simply stunning, and doesn't look its 21 years old at all (the serial number doesn't lie, it's dated November 25, 2004). It sports a lustrous Dusk Sun Red finish (DSR stands for Dusk Sun Red) with almost no scratches. The pickguard features a sophisticated wood pattern, while the soundhole is surrounded by multiple concentric ivory and black inlays. All edges, including those of the neck, feature elegant ivory binding, paired with subtle black binding on the back and multiple bindings on the top.
A professional setup and thorough cleaning were carried out, the living woods were nourished with straw oil, the enameled woods were vitalized with beeswax and the chrome plating was polished with an acetic solution and aluminum film.
It will come with a very comfortable soft case with handles and shoulder straps plus front pockets.
It will be shipped in suitable H-bomb-proof packaging.
All I can do is wish the next owner good luck!
