Beautiful Art Deco bedside set consisting of a carafe and matching tumbler, made of pressed uranium glass.
Produced by the renowned Verrerie de Scailmont (Manage, Belgium) around 1930, this set perfectly illustrates the geometric and architectural design typical of the Art Deco era.
Under natural light, the glass shows a soft yellow-green hue; under UV light, it glows with a brilliant fluorescent green, characteristic of glass containing uranium oxide.
Carafe height: 20cm
Tumbler: 10cm
Condition: Excellent vintage condition, no chips or cracks, beautiful shine preserved.
A rare and collectible piece of Belgian glassmaking.
