Description from the seller
Hello
Up for auction are two very early (each are second impressions), examples of Harry Potter and The Chamber of Secrets, and The Prisoner of Azkaban.
These Ted Smart-published books are the second and third books in the Harry Potter series, and are RARE early second printings.
The earlier the impression the better, and these examples are not commonly found now - especially in such good, decent condition.
Across both titles, the condition is generally good, with nice clean, bright jackets that are both NOT price clipped.
There are NO owners' names, or inscriptions, or anything that might be described as blemishes.
The boards are in very nice condition - tightly bound, no bumps all as they should be.
The gluing of the title page is a bit high on both books against the back of the front end paper, causing cracking along the joint of the half title page following it, but all the pages are tightly glued, and there are no loose pages.
Otherwise, condition is generally very good for both, with just a touch of spine fade to the jackets and a bit a sunning to the top page block.
All in all two very good, very early books.
