Description from the seller
Bring classic elegance and artistic craftsmanship into your home with this stunning blue stained-glass table lamp, designed in the timeless Tiffany style. Standing approximately 56 cm tall with a 30 cm wide shade, this lamp combines decorative beauty with impressive functionality.
The shade is crafted from richly coloured blue stained-glass pieces that have been individually hand-inlaid, creating a vibrant mosaic effect. When illuminated, the glass casts a warm, atmospheric glow that transforms any room into a cosy, inviting space. Even when switched off, the lamp remains a striking decorative object.
Inside the shade are two separate light points, each operated individually with its own metal pull-chain, allowing you to control each bulb independently for subtle or bright illumination.
Additionally, the lamp base houses a third light, which can be switched on separately from the shade or together with the upper lights, giving you multiple lighting combinations to suit any mood.
All bulbs are included and will be supplied with the lamp.
The lamp is in perfect condition.
About the Tiffany Lamp Tradition:
Tiffany lamps originated in the late 19th century and were created by Louis Comfort Tiffany, an American artist and designer associated with the Art Nouveau movement. Tiffany pioneered innovative techniques in stained glass, developing richly coloured “Favrile” glass that allowed for deeper hues and natural, flowing patterns. His workshop produced handcrafted lampshades made from hundreds of individually cut glass pieces, assembled into floral, dragonfly, geometric, and nature-inspired designs.
These lamps quickly became celebrated for their artistic craftsmanship and atmospheric light, and they remain iconic collectibles today, admired worldwide for their unique blend of art and functionality.
