Set of 12 silver-plated miniature animals in original box – Orfèvrerie Apollo Paris – ca. 1920, animal motifs (dachshund, swan, fox, hare, dog, pheasant, paired together)
A very charming and complete set of 12 silver-plated knife rests (porte-couteaux) with various animal figures.
Made by the renowned Orfèvrerie Apollo, Paris, circa 1900-1930.
The set is presented in its original blue case with a satin interior, printed with the "Orfèvrerie Apollo" logo.
Each knife rest is marked with the square Apollo hallmark featuring the profile of an Apollo animal – typical of this Parisian house.
