Vintage silver necklace – Pipa Niinimäki for Turun Hopea – Finland – 830 silver – 1960s/70s – Modernist design
A particularly beautiful and rare vintage necklace, designed by Pipa Niinimäki for the Finnish atelier Turun Hopea.
A typical example of Scandinavian modernism, characterized by organic lines, openwork structures, and an elegant geometric composition.
The hanger has a sculptural, almost network-like shape with three movable ends. The whole exhibits clear influences from the Finnish modernist school of the 1960s–1970s, where minimalism, rhythm, and light play are central.
The chain is made of 830 silver and fully stamped with the correct Finnish hallmarks, including:
