AI-assisted summary

Description from the seller

The Timour - Images of World History / Timoer - Images from World History.

Beautiful, very large page (15) from the legendary album 'La Francisque et le Cimeterre' / 'The Battle Axe and the Crooked Sword', created for the weekly magazine Spirou / Robbedoes in 1959/1960 and published in album in 1961 (Dupuis).
Coloring with watercolor paint on the back side.

Dutch East Indies ink on thick drawing paper.

With the original French texts. Characteristic of that period is that these texts were written on drawing sheets with pre-printed lines, such as those produced by Dupuis at the time, to make it easier for the artists.
Many artists from the Robbedoes stable are therefore known for their drawings made on drawing sheets with these blue lines, such as those by Franquin.

With a handwritten summary (a recap of the previous content) in the handwriting of the artist in the top left.
A paraph from Sirius is also visible on the right side.
The page is in very good condition.

A great opportunity to acquire a truly beautiful classic at a reasonable price.

Will be carefully packaged and shipped by registered mail. Albums are not included.
