Jacqueline Klein Breteler(1964) is a Dutch artist, living in a small village in the middle of the Netherlands.
After graduating from the art academy in Rotterdam, she moved to the countryside, got married and gave birth to 5 sons, all her time went into her family, until the youngest son went to school, then she picked up painting again. She was very lucky to find a house with a big atelier, where she works full time on her art.
For some years she trained herself in portrait painting, the paintings getting bigger and bigger to be able to put in more expression and create a wow-feeling in her work.
She now makes monumental portrait paintings on area rugs and canvas. The painted rugs get a lot of attention from galleries and collectors, and her number of fans is growing steadily. Her works can be found all over the world in private collections, and have been shown in prestigious galleries and art exhibitions and are very present online.
