An Attempt to give some Description of the Physical Geography, Botany, Zoology, Anthropology, Languages and History of the Territories Under British Protection in East Central Africa, between the Congo Free State and the Rift Valley and Between the First Degree of South Latitude and the Fifth Degree of North Latitude.
Two volumes in black cloth bindings with gilt titles to spines and girl portrait illustration to front boards. Top edges gilt, all other edges untrimmed. General wear to exteriors as shown with some marks, corners and spine ends bumped. Colour floral endpapers, both with bookplate to front pastedown. Half titles and facing pages with pencil notes. Light marginal age toning and a few little marks here and there, otherwise pages are generally clean as shown.
