Original edition of the budget draft for 1957 presented to the Finance Committee of the National Assembly by Mr. Guy Mollet (Prime Minister), Ramadier (Minister of Economic and Financial Affairs), and Jean Filippi, Secretary of State for the Budget.

Volume divided into three parts.
- the first includes: the economic report (arts. 2 and 3 of the decree of June 19, 1956); the financial report (arts. 2 and 4 of the decree of June 19, 1956); the draft budget law itself (art. 50 of the decree mentioned above)
Annex II (Appendix I) groups together the various annexes to the finance bill as provided for in Article 52 of the decree of June 19, 1956.
The third (Annex II) contains the annexes to the economic report and the financial report defined in Articles 3, 4, and 5 of the said decree.

Signed autograph copies from the co-authors of the project: '... to the author of this budget, the first to be submitted according to the rules established by the organic decree of June 18, 1916...'

Well-established copy in a luxurious full ebony morocco binding, smooth spine, gold-embossed title, a golden framing filet on the covers. Gilt head. Leather dividers separating the three parts. Comes with a matching slipcase.

Condition: slightly worn back and minor scuffing near the head cap. Interior impeccable. Scuffs on the edge of the case. Very nice example.
