"Two loves."
Detail of the painting Danaë by Correggio. (photos attached).
The two loves, one winged and the other wingless, symbolize sacred love and profane love; they are engraving a tablet with an arrow.
Oil on canvas.
Dimensions of the subject: 62 x 73 cm.
Condition: a restoration visible on the reverse. Cracking in the sky at the edge of the curve.
