Tamiya 1/20 Grand Prix Collection No. 30: Lotus Type 102B (1991 F1 Car) - Rare Vintage Kit
This is a highly sought-after, vintage Tamiya 1/20 scale plastic model kit of the Lotus Type 102B Formula 1 car from the 1991 season. This kit, Item No. 20030, was released in 1992 and is a cornerstone for any serious F1 or Tamiya collector.
The kit is a highly detailed static display model, featuring removable engine cowling to showcase the complete engine detail and includes slick racing tires.
Condition and Contents
The overall condition is excellent for a kit of this age (released 1992).
Box: The original box is in very good condition with clear and vibrant graphics, showing the classic cut-away illustration of the Lotus 102B.
Parts (Sprues): All plastic parts appear to be present, still sealed in their original factory plastic bags. This includes the white and black sprues as shown in the photos.
Tires: The rubber slick tires are in their original sealed bag, labeled "LOTUS type 102B".
Decals: Two sheets of decals are included:
Main Livery Decals: These feature the full green and yellow Team Lotus livery and various sponsor logos (Goodyear, Tamiya, BP, Komatsu, etc.). The sheet appears to be in good, unrestored condition.
Number/Sponsor Decals (Sheet B): This sheet includes the racing numbers (11 and 12) and additional sponsor logos like Komatsu and the rare "Police" livery option for the Italian Grand Prix.
