Description from the seller
The Work
Watching the Apocalypse
Limited edition: 4 unique specimens
Dimensions: 30×33 cm
Technique: Digital printing
Support: 350 g/m² coated paper.
Artist's signature on the reverse
Professionally packaged shipment
The 350 g/m² coated paper provides a solid and elegant texture, as well as a glossy finish that enhances color vividness and contrasts. Its satin surface allows for sharp, vibrant, and faithful reproduction of the original's visual atmosphere.
The artwork is even more luminous in person. The camera does not fully capture the depth and nuances of the color, which become apparent in natural light.
Limited edition of only 4 copies. One of the photos shows that each copy has a different tone and colors to make the series more dynamic.
An exclusive piece for those who value fresh, sensual art filled with humor.
Questions? I am available to clarify any doubts before your purchase.
Born in Cuba, he studied at the Professional School of Art of Matanzas, Cuba (2009-2013).
He finds his references and sources of inspiration in artists such as Warhol, Salvador Dalí, John Currin, Tom Wesselman, Gustav Klimt, Moebius, Tomás Sánchez and Roberto Fabelo.
An important note from the author
I feel the need to share that each of my works is born from my imagination and the ideas I want to convey to the world. The entire process—from the initial sketches to the final piece—is completely handmade, using ink, paint, paper, time, and patience. I come from an academic background, and although today there are tools like artificial intelligence capable of imitating artistic creation, I enjoy the manual process: I am passionate about building my work and watching it grow day by day.
Therefore, I invite you to consider that you are acquiring a piece that combines the modernity of professional printing with the essence of academic and traditional art. I do not reject AI — I know it is a powerful tool, which I use mainly as an aid for the models' poses — but I needed to make clear the human and artisanal value behind this work. Thank you for considering it.
My style has been shaped over the 15 years I have been working. I invite you to see more of my process here:
