The work is presented as a composite collection, typical of Dutch culinary publications from the mid-18th century, often published with several sections paginated separately.
13 preliminary leaves, 148 pages, 10 leaves, 140 pages, 7 leaves, 143 pages, 1 final leaf.
Total collation 462 pages + 31 sheets.
Complete according to the referenced copies, with the same structure as the Amsterdam Leiden editions circa 1745–1755.
Original publisher's binding, untrimmed, very rare in this condition, full paper Dutch binding from the period.
Original back, slightly worn edges.
Slightly scratched surfaces and dull edges.
Very cool interior for its time.
Good overall condition. Light signs of use, scuffs on the covers. The paper is sound, pages well preserved, with no missing parts. A sturdy copy, unrestored, very authentic. A condition above average for an 18th-century cookbook, which are usually very damaged.
