A bit of history :
This drawing signed by Jan Bajtlik joyfully pays tribute to the posters of the Polish school from the 1950s to 1970s. The graphic designers of Warsaw challenged the conventions of their time to illustrate films, plays, concerts, and exhibitions. It was not just about catching the eye but also about mastering the art of detail. The key words were: simple lines, iconic figures. Badges, ribbons, and geometric patterns here recall the strength of these creations. Kluska, the artist's little dog, has slipped to the right of the composition and sports a mischievous snout.
