Original oil painting by LTC titled La Columna de Frida (NO Reserve), created in 2012, measuring 46.5 x 38 cm, in red, white, blue, brown and grey, depicting popular culture in Naïve Art style; origin Spain; sold directly by the artist; unsigned.
Description from the seller
A Naïve homage to Frida Kahlo. Painted in oil, it depicts the artist's characteristic eyes crowning, free yet tearful, her infamously broken spine. While the unfortunate and terrible accident she suffered was not the reason for her inclination towards the arts, it certainly transformed the what and how of the work of one of the most influential women in the history of art.

About me:
Born in 1991 in Barcelona (Spain) with a paintbrush under my arm. Like many others before me, and many more after me, I showed my love for art at a very early age. Paper, pencils, and other fine arts materials were my favorite toys, and over the years, the tools that would allow me to bring to life everything that crossed my mind.
I do not consider myself self-taught, since my learning has been a mixture of observation and experiments. I completed my artistic baccalaureate in Barcelona, with the firm intention of continuing my studies in Fine Arts by pursuing that degree at the University of Barcelona. I have a love-hate memory of that program, and what I cherish most from it is discovering new means as the best part of it.
I haven't had any exhibitions, since I've always painted for myself: to escape and be happy, to get angry with myself, to release the tears that were stuck in my eyes... something that was greatly contributed to by the confinement during the pandemic, with the consequent situation of unemployment, uncertainty, and anger towards the world.
I don't know where the future will take me, but perhaps the destiny of my work will be in your hands, and with it part of the mind of this anonymous individual.
