Description from the seller

A stunning and unique vintage stained glass window/ sun catcher by the great 20th-century Belgian glass artist, Armand Blondeel. He was one of the most successful Belgian artists of the mid-20th century period to work with stained glass windows; his two sons followed in his footsteps and became important stained glass artists in their own right. This is a truly exceptional piece by him, depicting Adam and Eve in the Garden of Eden. The strongly stylized flowers and elements, and great attention to detail are recall the cubist/ Art Deco stained glass art. Not how finely the black is used to give depth to the composition and how beautifully each detail is rendered, including the scales of the serpent.
Signed and dated lower left. It has a chain attached on top to make it possible to hang it.

37,3 X 26.5 cm

Overall in very good condition, one piece has a crack above the knee of Eve, (visible - see photo no. 7.) A real masterpiece that would add character and charm to any interior.
