Silver-plated Tall Champagne Cooler – Pierre Bognon (PB + hammer), Paris – c. 1921–1925

Refined French champagne cooler in silver-plated metal with a gently flaring cylindrical body, shell-form side handles and a beaded rim. The interior is silver plated to protect against condensation and to give a warm, luxurious contrast with the bright exterior polish.

Hallmarks & attribution
Stamped “MADE IN FRANCE” and the silversmith’s punch PB with a hammer (Pierre Bognon), used in Paris and documented for 1921–1925. This is the registered maker’s mark for Bognon at 7, rue de Saint-Sébastien, Paris.

Condition
Very good vintage condition with light surface marks from gentle use and polishing; interior plating intact with minor age traces. Presents beautifully and is ready for service. On the photo s the inside looks yellow, but that is the light, is has the silver color.
