The Green Veltliner Emerald from the Zwerithaler Kammergut is incredibly tight and taut, but nevertheless so light-footed and fine that it is already wonderfully drinkable. In the glass it shows a diverse aroma with lime blossoms and core fruit, to which honeyde melon and subtle stony and smokyness are added on the palate. Above all, the wine is characterised by radiant liveliness and eerie focus. He proves his enormous endurance both on the palate and with certainty in the cellar.

The Zwerithaler is a reede not even 2 hectares in size, whose oldest, root-true vines were planted in 1907 and can be found in the Subriede Kammergut. This 0.5 ha plot, which is partly planted with very rare clones, was leased by Toni Bodenstein in 2015 from Melk Abbey. The dense, strong and enormously complex wine that he gets from her is strong in character and extremely independent, but bears a clear Prague manuscript.
