Laurin & Klement was a company that produced bicycles, motorcycles, and cars, founded in 1895 in Bohemia, then also known as Jungbunzlau, which was part of Austria-Hungary at the time and later Czechoslovakia, now in the Czech Republic. Car production began in 1905, and the company soon became the largest car manufacturer in Austria-Hungary. In 1925, the company was acquired by Škoda Works, and has been known as Škoda Auto ever since.
