A very rare edition of the report of the Council of Trent, the ecumenical council of the Catholic Church convened in the mid-sixteenth century to react to the spread of the Protestant Reformation in Europe.
The section on the "Index of Prohibited Books" is very interesting.

Sotealli, theologians, and Horatij Lucij, jurists; also including remissions by P. Augustini Barbosa...
