Antique 1849 Birmingham hallmarked silver serving knife with a genuine mother-of-pearl handle, a sterling .925 openwork blade hand-engraved with leaves and flowers, by George Unite silversmith (maker's mark GU), 20 cm long, 3 cm wide, 3 cm deep, 52 g, in excellent condition with minor cracks to the handle, patina and minor scratches.

Superior crafted quality mid 19th century elegant serving knife with genuine mother of pearl handle and sterling 925 silver openwork shaped blade finely hand engraved with leaves and flowers
Fully hallmarked on blade Birmingham Assay Office guarantee and "A" date letter for 1849 together with George Unite silversmith's mark "GU"

Condition report:
In clean fine 176 years old original condition, minor cracks on handle (Picture 10) - great patina, minor scratches and dark spots - no dings, no bumps, no repairs, no cracks, as you can see in pictures that are part of the description (wine bottle not included)
Coming from a 100% smoke-free home, it will be properly sanitized before shipping
