Artistic collaboration between David Law and Ginger Red
David Law, musician, author, and photographer, has been developing series for over 20 years on his favorite themes: the posing of mannequins in shop windows, Japanese angels, and Korean dolls in the cities he travels through. He turns to graphic design to create crypto-rocs, a gallery of iconic portraits made from photos of the represented artists. He participates in several contemporary art fair circuits, exhibiting and producing photo and video reports. He partnered with Ginger Red for a series dedicated to pin-ups, leveraging his graphic design experience by using Photoshop.
Ginger Red resides in Paris. After studying modeling and fashion design, the artist created numerous collages and studied drawing and painting for several years. Passionate about the retro and timeless charm of 1950s and 1960s pin-ups, supported by AI for visual research, which she reworks, blends, and carefully illustrates using graphic design tools (Photoshop, XPpenartist 24 Pro graphics tablet), she develops a style similar to that of renowned illustrators.
These two artists have teamed up to invite you to dive into the timeless universe of 1960s pin-ups, or other charming and original visuals.
