Original autographs of the artist and the publisher in pencil under the justification. Maupassant's text is illustrated with a frontispiece and 13 original watercolors, including 6 double-page ones, executed directly and signed on double page by the illustrator and sculptor Bruno Parizat.

Excellent condition of the leaves.
This is a unique copy, like the other 76, since the illustrator painted directly on each sheet. Therefore, the illustrations in this copy are not the same as those in any other copy.
