Refined bamboo woven magazine rack attributed to Vittorio Bonacina, Italy, dating from 1950–1960, measuring 50 cm high, 47 cm wide and 33 cm deep in good used condition with small signs of age and stains.
Description from the seller
Refined bamboo magazine holder, attributed to the renowned manufacturer Vittorio Bonacina, from the 1950s.
Proposed in excellent condition, this magazine rack represents a magnificent example of Italian design from the post-war period, when the craftsmanship of bamboo and rattan reached absolute levels of artisanal quality. The attribution to Vittorio Bonacina, a historic Lombard company specializing in the weaving of natural fibers, is suggested by the quality of the curves, the manual bindings, and the typical organic structure that characterizes their productions from the 1950s.
The object features a perfectly executed intertwining, with an elegantly arched handle and a solid, harmonious structure. The proportions are balanced, and the bamboo patina adds an authentic charm, typical of original artifacts from the era.
Ideal as a decorative element for vintage, mid-century, or boho chic interiors, it is simultaneously a functional object with a strong aesthetic impact.
Dimensions:
Height 50 cm
Width 47 cm
Depth 33 cm
Excellent condition, consistent with the era.
Accurate and traceable shipping across Europe, with professional packaging.
