Description from the seller

Beautiful specimen of the trilobite Reedops Cephalotes from Morocco in excellent preservation condition, practically perfect. The compound eyes retain good definition, and the carapace shows finely preserved details, such as veins and ridges that highlight its structure. A fossil that offers an interesting glimpse into prehistoric life.
The facope (genus Phacops) is an extinct arthropod belonging to the trilobites. Its fossils are very common in much of the world, and they are found in rocks from the Silurian to the Devonian (430-360 million years ago).
