2018 Bodegas Hnos. Sastre, Viña Sastre 'Pesus' - Ribera del Duero - 1 Double Magnum/Jeroboam (3.0L)

This great wine has a beautiful cherry colour with garnet edges.
On the nose it is very powerful and complex, highlighting the ripeness of the grape with fruity aromas (prunes) and toasted notes (roasted coffee, toffee) of the wood that embraces the wine. It has a mineral background (flint and slate) and spicy tones (cinnamon, pepper and some vanilla), menthol, wood and aromatic herbs (sandalwood and thyme).
On the palate it is elegant, tasty, very fruity, well-built with noble tannins and with a pleasant power, consistent, very expressive with sensations of fresh and stewed black fruit, cocoa, English chocolate, aromatic herbs, coffee beans, broad and very persistent. In short, it is a great wine, a faithful exponent of our “terroir” to be consumed now and in many years.
