Description from the seller
Collection of Three Limoges Porcelain Lighters – Hand-Painted – 1950s/1960s
Refined set of three table lighters made of authentic Limoges porcelain, each adorned with finely hand-painted decorations. These are high-quality collectible pieces, elegant and sought-after, combining French decorative art with the functionality typical of mid-20th-century smoking accessories.
Lighter with cherubs (blue background)
Made of glazed porcelain, it features a romantic scene with two putti among clouds and floral garlands. Soft and pastel tones, outlined with golden filigree. Upper metal mount in brass. Overall very good condition.
Oval low lighter with cherub (pink and blue background)
Model with a rounded shape, particularly harmonious. The decoration depicts two putti lying down among ribbons and clouds, rendered with remarkable delicacy. Bright colors and gold leafing still well preserved. Frame in gilded metal.
3. Lighter with an ancient landscape (natural and blue tones)
Elegant painted porcelain with a bucolic scene: a tower, a stream, and a courtyard immersed in nature. At the top, small blue floral motifs. Brass mounting with decorative side details. Classic and highly decorative style.
Conditions:
All three lighters show normal signs of age but are overall in excellent aesthetic condition. The decorations are intact, with no visible chips. Functionality not tested. (Sold as non-working)
Accurate and tracked shipping, carried out with appropriate materials.
