Oblong brochure 8° (approximately 12 × 10.5 cm), 32 pages, original cover made of brown paper printed in black, with vintage metal staples.
Publication in pre-reform Russian (ъ final, і, ѣ), typical of the short period of the Democratic Republic of Georgia; colophon: 'Typographia Sojuza Gorodov Respubliki Gruzii'.
Caucasian impression with very limited production, today preserved little outside Georgia.
Poem by the symbolist author Sergueï Rafalovich (1875-1943), active in the Russian literary circles of Tiflis; an exemplar from the extremely limited corpus of Russian impressions of Tiflis between 1917 and 1921.
No recent copies have been sold in the West; the publications of the 'Kavkazskiy Posrednik' are notoriously rare. The copy is well preserved for such a fragile item: uniformly browned paper, minimal marginal creasing, slightly oxidized but sturdy staples. The interior is clean, with sharp printing.
