Description:
This work is a reinterpretation of a fragment of the altarpiece 'Eva' by Albrecht Dürer, currently housed in the Museo del Prado. The piece was created following faithfully the ancient painting techniques on panel: the panel was prepared with calcium carbonate and rabbit glue, emulating the historical methods of Renaissance altarpieces.
The oil was applied following the traditional technique, respecting the modeling and nuances of the original, and the work has been protected with a final varnish that ensures its preservation. This piece reflects a deep technical approach, attention to detail, and a rigorous study of classical painting traditions, while also conveying the artist's sensitivity and personal perspective.
