Description from the seller

Introduction José Soler:

Work explanation

It is an abstract and chaotic composition of a staircase that looks toward the sky. It holds a special symbolism, as I wanted to capture the feelings of family members who have to say goodbye to a loved one, the anguish caused by wanting to be with them and being unable, no matter how much you wish to see or reach them again. Therefore, I was inspired by a staircase with confused steps, steps that look upward but do not complete their journey.
The last step, the last word, the last cup…
Sometimes, spaces can be the translation of a moment, conveying a feeling. Or a secret.

José Soler is a sculptor based in Spain whose works have been exhibited nationally, as well as in Monaco, Italy, and France. Through each of his pieces, he strives to bring out the melody that lives within each of us. Soler cites the transformation of cold steel into sculpture as his way of connecting with what is invisible to our eyes and what can only be perceived with universal feelings.
