#251 (04/1984) – “Endings!”: Spectacular conclusion to the saga, with a chase in Hobgoblin’s armored van and the destruction of Norman Osborn’s secret diaries in the burning lair.

#253 (06/1984) – First appearance of The Rose, New York's new crime boss, and one of the very first appearances of Spider-Man's black alien costume in the main series.

#254 (07/1984) – Another adventure with the black costume, featuring Jack O’Lantern and connections to the storylines with Kingpin and the Answer.
