The stunningly beautiful figures have been created in the 'Cottage Style' by master sculptor and painter Jim Shore. He drew inspiration from American Folk Art. Specifically for his Folk Art Collection 'Heartwood Creek', Jim Shore was awarded the title of 'Artist of the Year' by the 'National Association of Limited Edition Dealers' in 2004.
The individual pieces are very lovingly crafted, detailed, and lively. The originals are carved by Jim Shore. These figures also have the appearance of carved figures, as the originals were used for the molds of the casts.
