THE STORY BEHIND
In this painting, I depict a young woman deeply concentrated on her musical rehearsal. The image captures a magical moment, where the performer's skill intertwines with the elegance of the cello, creating an atmosphere of introspection and harmony. The composition is characterised by a fascinating interplay of lines, where the elements of the painting connect in a visual dance. The bow, the girl's arms and the neck of the cello become protagonists that define the space, establishing an intimate dialogue between music and visual art. She was sitting down, and I chose not to define the seat, but to leave it as a starting point, and that is the drips of paint that slide across the canvas, which is something I love.
