XTC, Mc Caviar Tiffany, a sculptural piece in plastics and wood with a glass cloche and a nacre spoon, edition 9/15, 2025, signed by hand, made in France; dimensions 18 x 18 x 25 cm.
Description from the seller
Mc Caviar x Tiffany cone with mother-of-pearl spoon by XTC.
Subversion of a McDonald's cone, the crossing of luxury and mass consumption.
It's not a McDonald's cardboard cone; everything was made from plastics and painted by XTC, except for the spoon made of genuine mother-of-pearl.
The glass bell is an integral part of the work.
Signed and numbered out of 15 below, Certificate of Authenticity (COA) provided.
The item in the photo is not necessarily the one that will be sent.
Careful packaging and tracking
Born in 1978 in the heart of France, XTC shaped his artistic universe through his interest in Design, Pop Art, and more recently Street Art. This visual exploration has turned into a passion that was to materialize.
XTC defines himself as a self-taught visual artist, aligning with the Pop Art movement through the appropriation of contemporary mass-produced goods.
His creativity is expressed through the daring staging of icons of popular consumer culture (like McDonald's, Malabar, Chupa), which he juxtaposes with the world of luxury (including Chanel, Hermes, Veuve Clicquot champagne, and Caviar) and Street Art, further blurring the already tenuous boundaries between these worlds.
He expresses his art through sculpture, blending painting with all kinds of resins, plastics, and sometimes minerals.
He draws inspiration, among others, from Banksy, Keith Haring, Orlinski, Andy Warhol, Obey, and advertising and addictions in general.
All defects or imperfections are considered an integral part of the work.
