The board displays fine lines, careful relief work, and a notably large hat, characteristic of historical traditional attire. At the bottom, a signed monogram 'JV' is inscribed, indicating the handiwork of an individual craftsman.

Beautiful, handcrafted wooden speculaas board with two different traditional figures on each side.
