Handcrafted lamp made from recycled glass in Belgium, dating to 1960–1970, in blue with a rustic contemporary design, 18 cm wide, 24 cm high and 18 cm deep, in excellent condition and in working order.
Description from the seller
Beautiful handcrafted lamp made from pieces of recycled glass, carefully arranged one by one and fixed with a metal wire, creating a true luminous sculpture. Each piece of green glass is worked in an irregular manner, offering a rich texture and a unique visual effect.
When the lamp is turned on, the light diffuses through the layers of glass, creating a warm atmosphere and a highly decorative play of reflections. Its organic shape and entirely handcrafted construction make it a unique piece, ideal for enthusiasts of contemporary design and sustainable art.
It is probably an artisanal creation made between 1960 and 1970, a period during which the use of recycled glass in decorative art became very appreciated.
Condition: very good, fully functional. Slight natural marks related to the artisanal technique.
