Giovanni Robustelli (Vittoria 1980) After studying Art History, Cultural Heritage Conservation, and Contemporary Art History at the University of Genoa, he dedicated himself to artistic production through various techniques: graphite, oil, watercolor, and... ballpoint pen, with which he creates large-format illustrations without any preparatory sketches.
His works are part of prestigious private collections and have been exhibited in various galleries. Since 2009, Spazio Papel has established a close collaboration with the Sicilian artist, organizing numerous solo exhibitions and publications of graphic works, books, and catalogs. In June 2015, the city of Naples dedicated a solo exhibition to him, showcasing 40 of his works in the magnificent setting of Castel dell’Ovo.
