Jiří Petr - The last gentleman, ready to hang

Oil on stretched canvas, oilpainting ,,60-50cm Jiří Petr is a Czech painter who was born in 1980 in Polička. Subsequently, he devoted himself intensively to drawing and painting. After years spent searching for his own style and handwriting, he developed a distinctive way of creating, which is characterized by the application of colors with a wooden stick. The subject of his paintings is diverse, all of them are united by the painting technique. In his work, he pays a lot of attention to love and women, which he stylizes in Cubism and sometimes even slightly in Surrealism. His life attitude, which means a calm and relaxed experience, is reflected in the atmosphere of the paintings and has a peaceful, light and peaceful effect on the viewer. This is one of the reasons why this painter has become a favorite of many buyers and belongs to collections all over the world. As a lover of nature, he is also involved in landscape painting, where he inserts a composition with a figure, most often a girl with a black cat. He presents his paintings mostly on the Internet, where he organizes countless auctions every year. Nevertheless, he has had several exhibitions, for example in 2004 Prague, 2008 Vienna, 2012 Wroclaw, 2018 Zurich, 2020 Polička. He signs his paintings on the front with the monogram J.P and the date of creation of the work. On the back there is a note with the name of the painting, the date and the full signature.
