Part 3 of John Calvin of Noyon, Complete Works.
Joannis Calvini, Great Theologian, Commentaries on the Book of Psalms: Also on the Prophet Isaiah; In the Psalms Commentaries, besides many passages that are faithfully corrected by Calvini's hand in his own copy, the Hebrew context is also added alongside the Latin interpretation—Amsterdam, Jacob Schipper, 1667 - Part 3 - [6] 538 [6], [8] 418 [18] pages - folio, blindstamped leather binding with ribs on the spine.
Good. Small bumps on the corners. Shallow open on the right knee. Paper slightly open over the inner hinges. The book block is sturdy and fixed in the binding. Some pencil marks in the margins on pages 1 and 2 of the first part and pages 238, 245, 246, 247, and 340 of the second part, as well as notes in the margins of pages 135 through 137 and on another page of the second part. Some corner tips are bent. There is a hole in a rust spot on 3 pages. Loss of a corner on 2 pages. A tear in the margin, about 0.5 to 1 cm, on 3 pages. The interior is discolored, with some spots here and there, foxing—especially in the margins of several pages.
