Description from the seller
6 bottles of Champagne Colin "Cuvée Parallèle" Premier Cru Blanc de Blancs Extra Brut.
60% year’s harvest and 40% perpetual reserve since 2004. Fermented in stainless steel tanks and oak barrels.
Aged on lees: 18-30 months. The nose initially bursts with notes of ripe wheat and fresh hay before taking you on a more floral journey with aromas of aniseed, bergamot and green tea. The olfactory world is rich and dense finished with softly buttery and indulgent notes, marzipan and candied citrus. The salty character makes its mark in the mouth with a hint of liquorice. The wine’s sharpness floods in with citrus fruits that pop
in the mouth. It finishes on bitter orange and citrus peel elevated by a delicately woody and tannic feel.
Champagne Colin is a family-run business that has been producing excellent champagnes for over seven generations. Originally, the Champagne Colin vineyard spoke to women, but today it is headed by Richard and Romain Colin. The passion for the vine and wine was born with Geneviève Prieur and Marie Louise Radet, their grandmothers, who had both inherited vines from their parents. But we must go back to 1829 to find the first winemaker of the family: Constant Piéton (great-grandfather of Geneviève Prieur, maternal grandmother of Richard and Romain). The company is located in the Côte des Blancs, in the village of Vertus and produces Champagne Blanc de Blancs Premier and Grand Cru.
The single bottles will be shipped to you in a secure, protective wine packaging. No shipping outside the EU (Norway, Iceland, Islands,...).
