Side table - Wood - antique side table

This special side table from the end of the 19th century is a charming eye-catcher with a distinctive hand-carved decoration. The furniture is entirely made of solid wood and displays a beautiful patina that can only develop after more than a century of use.

The tabletop has an elegant, polygonal shape and is framed by a richly carved edge with leaf motifs. Beneath the edge are characteristic drop-shaped ornaments, a stylistic feature mainly seen in late 19th-century woodcarving. The central twisted column is gracefully profiled and ends in a finely designed four-legged base, also richly decorated with floral motifs and scrolls.

This table is not only decorative but also functional. Ideal as a plant table, side table, or as a striking piece in a classic interior setting. The table shows signs of use, appropriate for its age, and has some features that contribute to its authentic appearance. The bottom is secured with new screws.
