In this auction, two wall shelves with sculptures of four cherubs prominently displayed.
The shelves and cherubs are very antique; upon close inspection, you can see old restorations, ancient signs of woodworm holes that have been professionally treated.
The shelves are richly and intricately worked, decorated with elaborate wood sculptural work.
The four cherubs are engaged in a game between boys, with the group on the right and the one on the left.
The shelves are meant to be displayed close to each other, one on the right and one on the left.
The back part is very old as well, as seen in the photographs, and despite the years, it retains a beautiful historical patina and a brilliance at times.
There are signs of ancient breaks and some missing parts caused by woodworms or a small edge under the sculpture.
They are a wonderful couple and have remarkable artistic value.
On the back side, an ancient hole can be seen, which was used as candle holders.
