Rado Space Wing - Red Date, reference 730711, a 1970s automatic stainless steel men's watch with a 35 mm case, silver sunburst dial, red date at 3 and the original stainless steel bracelet in good condition with visible signs of wear.
Description from the seller
Vintage Rado Space Wing with distinctive red date display, original Rado stainless steel bracelet and automatic 25-jewel movement, produced in the 1970s.
The Rado Space Wing is a lesser-seen model from the early 1970s, combining the brand’s rotating anchor emblem with a distinctive dial layout that differs from Rado’s mainstream designs of the period. The silver sunburst dial works together with tall applied indexes that create strong depth and reflection, giving the watch a dynamic and characteristic appearance on the wrist.
A notable feature of this example is the red date display at 3 o’clock, a detail used on select Rado models and appreciated for its period-correct visual contrast. The original Rado stainless steel bracelet completes the watch with a coherent vintage presence.
The stainless steel case measures 35.1 mm, offering a compact and comfortable size while retaining the unmistakable early 1970s Rado profile. The crown is signed with the Rado emblem, and the caseback is engraved with the serial number 730711.
Inside is a Rado automatic movement marked 25 jewels and SWISS, as shown in the provided images. The date is adjusted by rotating the hands, as this model features a single-position crown without a quick-set mechanism.
Running at the time of listing.
As a vintage watch, stable operation, accuracy, and water resistance are not guaranteed.
The watch will be carefully packed and shipped with tracking for safe delivery.
