Description from the seller

Pilgrim's badge, late medieval, ca. 1350–1450 AD. A pewter pilgrim's badge depicting Pope Cornelius, also known as Saint Cornelius of Ninove, standing with a small pilgrim at his feet. Saint Cornelius is wearing the papal tiara on his head. His crossed staff (crux hastata) and a horn, which he traditionally holds, are missing. Cornelius was the patron saint of cattle, and the horn symbolizes this. Interestingly, the horn also serves as a pun on his name, as the Latin word "cornu" actually means horn. The reliquary of Cornelius could be visited by pilgrims at the Flemish Abbey of Ninove, near Geraardsbergen. Dimensions: 2.2 cm x 7.6 cm (0.875" W x 3" H)
Condition
Head reattached at the neck. Loss of elements of attributes held in the hand (horn and crossed staff). Expected wear due to age and a rich, dark patina.
